Privacy policy

This policy explains how Turun Mainostuote Oy processes personal data on the website and in connection with quote requests. Updated 30 September 2026.

What data we process

When you send a quote request, we receive the information you provide: company name, contact person's name, email address, telephone number, message, and the products and quantities you want a quote for. We also process emails and other messages that you send to us.

Why we process data

We use the data to respond to quote requests, deliver orders and manage the customer relationship. Processing is based on your quote request and the contract, and on our legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship. We do not send marketing messages without your permission.

How long we keep data

Personal data in quote requests is deleted or anonymised after 24 months. Order and invoicing data is kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act.

Service providers that process data

We use the following service providers to run the website and handle quote requests. They process data only on our behalf.

• Sanity: website content management and storage of quote requests. Data is stored in the EU.
• Cloudflare: website servers, security and spam protection for the quote request form (Turnstile).
• Plausible Analytics: visitor statistics. An Estonian company; data is stored in the EU.
• Resend: email notifications and confirmation messages for quote requests.
• Fastmail: company email.

Some of the service providers are based in the United States. If data is transferred outside the EU and the EEA, the transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or disclose data to others.

We use AI to write product texts, but data from quote requests is not sent to AI services.

Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. The quote basket is saved only in your own browser and is not sent to us until you submit a quote request.

Visitor statistics are collected with Plausible Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not store anything in the browser. To count visitors, a hash is created from the IP address, browser information and a random value that changes daily, and it does not persist to the next day. The IP address is not stored. From the statistics we see only aggregated figures, such as page views, visitor numbers, where visitors came from and which country they are in, and we cannot identify an individual visitor. Data is stored in the EU.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to request its correction or deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Send your request to info@turunmainostuote.fi.

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Data security

Data is stored in secured systems that only those who need the data for their work can access. Connections to the website are encrypted.
