Polo shirt by use

A cotton polo shirt suits customer service, sales and the office. A polyester and cotton blend, for example 65% polyester and 35% cotton, suits workwear, and some of the blended styles can be washed at 60 degrees. A technical polo shirt is made of polyester and dries quickly, so it also suits sport. The range also includes long-sleeved polo shirts and a style with stripes on the collar and cuffs. For more casual use, see T-shirts, and for more formal use, Shirts.

Material and size

Cotton polo shirts weigh 170–230 g/m², and technical polo shirts about 140–150 g/m². In the same style, the white shirt can be slightly lighter than a coloured one. The stretch styles contain 5% elastane in addition to cotton, and Basic Pikee is made of organic cotton. Brands include Roly, Fruit of the Loom, Russell and Payper.

Sizes vary by style from XXS to 5XL, and there are from one to over 30 colours depending on the style. Collect the size preferences before the quote request and state the quantity of each size in the request. Different sizes of the same style can be ordered in the same order.

What the price includes

The price on the product page excludes VAT, but it includes a one-colour print in one position. For batches of fewer than 100 pcs, the price includes transfer print: the image is printed on a transfer sheet and fixed to the fabric with heat. The transfer print is at most A6 in size (105 x 148 mm). From a batch of one hundred pcs, the price includes screen print, which can be at most A4 in size. In screen print, a dark shirt needs a white base colour, which is priced as a second colour.

The quote prices additional colours, other print positions, a larger image and embroidery. An embroidered logo also suits a polo shirt, so tell us in the quote request if you want the logo embroidered and in which position it goes. The print methods are described on the Print methods page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the logo printed or embroidered on a polo shirt?

The price on the product page includes print. You can ask about embroidery in your quote request: the quote will tell you whether the chosen style can be embroidered and what it costs. A small, simple logo suits embroidery.

What is the difference between a cotton and a technical polo shirt?

A cotton polo shirt usually weighs 170–230 g/m² and suits customer service and office use. A technical polo shirt is made of polyester, weighs about 140–150 g/m² and dries quickly. A polyester and cotton blend suits workwear, and some of the blended styles can be washed at 60 degrees.
